Centre for Body and Vocal Health
Welcome to the “Centre for Body and Vocal Health“, the
first clinic in music medicine in Australia's capital,
Canberra. The centre was founded and is run by Maike Brill.
Music Medicine (or more precise Musicians Medicine,
not to be confused with Music Therapy) was developed in Switzerland
and Germany. It deals with all problems specifically related to
musicians. The centre offers rehabilitation and also preventative
methods for singers and instrumentalists alike. It provides an
exciting link between western and eastern medicine, functional
anatomy, movement and voice training.
While the centre has a focus on music medicine, Maike is also
specialized in orthopedic rehabilitation and works with all general
orthopedic problems like work and sports injuries.
New in Australia: Integrative Vocal Training
Integrative Vocal Training offers new methods and great techniques for training and rehabilitation for all who use their voice and their body for artistic expression. It is indispensable for (but not limited to): singers (classical, popular, professionals, hobbyists and absolute beginners), instrumentalists (guitar, violin, piano, trumpet, drums ...), and speakers (actors, news readers, voice-over artists, business people, sports coaches ...).
About Me
